Constipation straight up sucks. It’s a common and oh-so-uncomfortable condition, and for many people it is more than just an occasional inconvenience… It can literally impact your quality of life and well-being.

Characterized by infrequent bowel movements, difficulty passing stools, or a sense of incomplete evacuation, constipation can arise from various factors, including diet, lifestyle, and other underlying health issues, such as SIBO.

Constipation gets defined by varying criteria depending on the doctor or practitioner. For some, it requires less than 3 bowel movements per week to classify as constipation. In my practice, I consider constipation to be less than 1 bowel movement per day. If we do not evacuate the waste every single day, toxins can recirculate into our system and problems inevitably arise. Obviously, if you’re travelling and resetting your circadian rhythm, a single odd day here or there could be normal. However, if it happens often and you skip days before going #2, then, my friend, you could be chronically constipated. 🙁

For decades it was my case too, so I get it. This is why I’ve created this Constipation S.O.S. Guide including all the best tools to help you with this unpleasant situation.
